The most definitive way to determine if your 2013 Kia Sorento has the factory towing prep package is to have the dealer run the VIN number. They will be able to you how it is equipped. The trailer wiring for vehicles with the tow prep package, # C56332, is located behind the driver side rear wheel along the frame rail. I have linked instructions for you.
If you have a 4-cylinder model or a model without the tow prep package, use # 118506.
For a trailer hitch, the most popular option is Curt hitch # C13073. I have included some links on the installation of this hitch for you. I also recommend the etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts, 2 balls, a hitch pin with clip, and a carrying bag.
