Updated 09/17/2026 | Published 09/08/2026

Question:

Looking for a trailer harness for a 19 kia sorento EX. Drover sode has hookups for the harness but the black connector in Part Number: C56332 is right but the white part. Will not fully seat correctly. Do you make for have a harness that works?

Hi Don; are you saying you already tried the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56332 and the connector wouldn't fit? Are you sure it was the right connector on the vehicle?

This is the only option for the tow package for the 2019 Sorento. However, you can still use the Curt # C56256. This will plug in behind the taillights instead of using the factory connector. Outside of that, the only option is a universal splice-in wiring harness like # C59496.

What are you towing with your Sorento?

I didn’t have that problem so I would definitely go with the options proposed by Robin.

I have. The connector on the vehicle (Black) has a bit that is blocked by the white connector tab. In the photos I sent you can see what I was talking about. I wish I got a photo of the vehicle side to show both. I will need to get more information.

@DonS I didn't see any photos attached to the original question so I'm not sure what you're referring to. If you respond to the email with the link for this page you can attach and send your pictures via email.

The part worked and fit perfectly on my 2014 Santa Fe, no issues with the connections not fitting. They were perhaps of different color configurations compared to factory, but they lined up fine. However, don't forget to insert the accompanying fuse, something that gave me pause before I got it figured out! I'd go with Robin's suggestions, and in order to be of more help, I would need to see the aforementioned photos.

@TimD thanks for the feedback and the reminder about the fuse. That is definitely an easy step to overlook during the installation.
