Features to know about

Tackle Heavy Loads with Ease: 5,000-lb Load-Leveling Support

Hauling heavy loads in a 3/4-ton or 1-ton pickup truck? The Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs offer a massive 5,000 lbs of load-leveling support. This enhancement significantly reduces strain on your rear suspension, improving safety and ride quality. Perfect for commercial trucks, motor homes, and pickups with hefty cargo, it ensures your vehicle remains stable and level, even under the most demanding conditions.

A Safer, Smoother Ride: Reduces Sway and Absorbs Shock

Driving with a heavy payload can compromise handling. The LoadLifter's heavy-duty air springs diminish sway and absorb road shock, providing a smooth ride regardless of the road condition. This means improved braking and steering performance, better tire wear, and safer headlight aim. It's all about giving you control and comfort when you need it most.

Customizable Support Just for You: Adjustable Air Springs

Need precise support for uneven or off-center loads? These air springs can be adjusted from 5 psi to 100 psi, with each spring inflatable independently for side-to-side or front-to-rear leveling. Customize your vehicle's load distribution effortlessly, and ensure even support tailored to your specific hauling setup. With the option to add an in-cab compressor system, monitoring and adjusting air pressure becomes even more convenient.

Built to Last: High-Strength Zytel Nylon Endcaps

The secret to the LoadLifter's durability lies in its construction. Featuring endcaps made of Zytel nylon, a material lighter and stronger than steel, these air bags resist corrosion, ensuring no air loss over time. Coupled with 2-ply fabric-reinforced rubber, this makes for a robust and reliable suspension upgrade designed to last.

Easy Installation and Maintenance: Complete Kit with Manual Inflation

Installing the LoadLifter 5000 is straightforward with included mounting brackets, manual inflation valves, and air lines. Valves are typically mounted on the bumper for easy access, and additional compressor systems can be purchased separately for automated adjustments. Simplicity and ease of use mean you spend less time worrying about setup and more time enjoying the benefits.

Confident Hauling: Lifetime Warranty and Satisfaction Guarantee

Backing its performance with confidence, Air Lift offers a lifetime warranty with no mileage restrictions and a 60-day satisfaction guarantee. Install and use the LoadLifter 5000 for 60 days, and if you're not satisfied, you can return it for a full refund. It’s the kind of assurance that speaks to the quality and reliability of the product, making it a top choice for truck owners who demand the best from their suspension upgrades.

  • Air Bag Suspension Enhancement Kit for 2018 Chevy Silverado 2500HD with 6 inch Lift
Hey Aubrey, I would recommend the Air Lift kit part # AL57338 that is a confirmed fit for your 2018 Chevy Silverado 25000 and then since you have a 6 inch lift you'd want the part # AL52460 to take up that extra space and allow the proper engagement of the bags. This comes with an inflation valve so you don't have to have a compressor installed at this time either.

  • Best Suspension System Enhancement For Chevy 3500 Construction Truck.
I recommend the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle # AL57338. It will give you the most versatility with adjustments and load variations. For your daily construction site needs. The kit comes with 16 feet of air line so you will have plenty of line that will allow you to hide and protect the air lines themselves. You will be able to adjust the air springs independently from each other to get a custom ride that will be smoother than a jounce style spring.

  • How to Use Air Lift LoadLifter Air Bags on a 2015 GMC Sierra 2500 with 6 Inch Lift
Yes, the Air Lift LoadLifter 7500 XL Air Helper Springs part # AL57538 will work on your 2015 GMC Sierra 2500. However, you don't need to use the 7500 XL system nor would I advise it. Instead, I recommend the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs part # AL57338. The 7,500 lb and 5,000 lb weight capacity you see is for pin/tongue weight, not gross trailer weight as the the pin/tongue weight is the only part that is directly over the top of the airbags. They will however both do an...

  • Will Air Lift Air Bags Work With B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck On a 2013 Chevy Silverado 3500HD
The correct B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch for a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD is part # BWGNRK1012. In regards to the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs part # AL57338, you can use these with the B&W Turnoverball no problem but you will need to drill into the bottom of the frame to attach the upper bracket as opposed to using the u-bolts that clamp around the frame. I have attached a photo to show this but that will be your only option to use both air bags...

  • Troubleshooting Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 elbow leaking at swivel
It is not uncommon to have a leak at the swivel fitting on your Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Springs # AL57338. It usually has to do with the hose not being cut cleanly. I've attached the portion of the installation instructions that deals directly with fixing this leak. My recommendation is to use the Air Lift Air Hose Cutter # AL10530 to ensure a clean cut on the hose. If you need to remove the fitting to reseal it, I recommend the Loctite Thread Sealant 545 # LT37482.

  • Diagnosing Air Leak At Elbow Fitting On Air Lift LoadLifter 5000
The elbow fitting is a common place for leaks with air suspension kits such as the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle # AL57338 that you have. The most common culprit is an air line that is not cut completely flat and clean. I attached a section of the instructions that provide a few simple steps for diagnosing and fixing the leak. When cutting the line you want to use Air Lift Air Hose Cutter # AL10530 or a similar device which will ensure you have a clean cut. If...

  • Replacement Air Lift 5813 Air Spring And Mounting Bracket Availability
Hi Turner, Air Lift and Firestone have moved towards no longer offering replacement parts since there tends to be more confusion and issues when trying to swap out parts. These parts separately also ended up costing more than a completely new kit and wouldn't come with a warranty like the kit would so you'll most likely be looking at needing an entirely new kit. We no longer offer the exact replacement parts you need but there still might be a shop that has some on hand to work through....

  • How to Determine Correct Spacers for Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs in 2016 GMC Sierra
To determine the correct spacers in for your GMC Sierra with a 4-1/2" lift and Air Lift 5000 Air Helper Springs such as # AL57338 you wll need to do a bit of measuring. There is a diagram I added from Air Lift what you will need to measure to ensure the correct spacer kit. You will need to measure the total distance between the mounting surfaces, and subtract that by 5-1/2", which is "A", the air spring design height for these air bags. That will give you the correct lift spacer, which...

  • Suspension Enhancement to Reduce Bounce On a 2015 GMC Sierra With Air Lift Air Helper Springs
The best way to reduce the bouncing you are experiencing in your 2015 GMC Sierra 2500 with the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs # AL57338 is by changing out the air springs. By installing 2 of the Replacement Air Springs # AL84297 with the internal jounce bumper this will reduce the bouncing. The jounce bumper helps to absorb the bouncing you are experiencing and will effectively upgrade you to the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs # AL88338. The RoadActive...

  • How to Determine How Much Air Pressure is Needed with Suspension Enhancement Towing Trailer
Determining the correct amount of air pressure you should put in bags like the Air Lift kit part # AL57338 isn't an exact science but the goal is to provide the support you need while balancing ride quality as too much pressure makes the ride quality pretty rough. The best way we've found is to inflate the bags to the point where the rear suspension sits very near level like it was without the weight of a trailer. I'd also recommend experimenting with raising and lower the pressure till...

  • Firestone Vs Air Lift Air Bags and Single Vs Dual Compressor for a 2015 Chevy Silverado 3500
The air bags I recommend for a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 are the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F2596. I recommend the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs over the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs part # AL57338 because the air bags are more durable since they use a crimp rolled design instead of a band clamp (see photo) and there are typically fewer components therefore easier to install. • Can Air Bags be Installed on a 2011 Ford F-250 with B&W Gooseneck Hitch Installed
All of the air spring kits for the 2011 Ford F-250 mount to the sides of the truck frame rails. The issue is that the B&W gooseneck hitch brackets also install in the same location but on the outsides of the frame rails. This would not be a problem if the B&W brackets holes in them to match the frame holes located directly above the axle. This is the hole that nearly all of the available air spring kits use for your truck. You would have to drill the holes into the B&W brackets. If you...

  • Loadlifter 5000 Leaking On Both Sides
The air is going somewhere. If you checked all the connections on the LoadLifter 5000 # AL57338 and they're not leaking, you must have a pinched line or cracked air bag. Next step you will need to do the same process with the soap water and find out which line is pinched and or if the bags are cracked and leaking. If you cannot find the leak and the problem persists, I would just go ahead and replace the components.

According to my technical contact at Airlift the kit that you have, # AL57338, on your 2013 Chevy 2500 4 by 4 Short Bed Crew Cab Truck can be used without the upper u-bolts that wrap around the frame. The Air Lift LoadLifter part # AL57338 for the 2018 Chevy Silverado 2500 will require drilling if you have the B&W Gooseneck hitch but it will be compatible. The self tapping screws will allow you to attach the Air Lift springs to the bottom of the frame rail and not use the U-bolts which would interfere with the Gooseneck brackets. • How to Check Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 System for Leaks
I have seen some instances of the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 # AL57338 of having leaks, but these are mostly due to not having a completely squared off cut on the air lines and air leaking from the tubes; not the bags themselves. You'll want to try removing the line, re-cutting the line totally square and then reinstalling it on the bags; after a couple of days check the pressure on the air bags to see if you're still losing air. If you're still losing air, it's possible that the bags have...

The hitch installs on the outside of the frame rails and the air bags install on the bottom of the frame so there will be no compatibility issues. • Can an Air Bag Compressor System be Wired to an Upfitter Switch on a 2016 Ford F-250
The upfitter switch on your truck would have to be one that is not currently being used. A 2-position switch can be used to power on the compressor to add air and then switched off once the desired psi is reached. If you wire it up to the upfitter switch I recommend using an analog compressor system that is more set up for that type of switch such as # AL25592. That way you can still have a way to purge out the air pneumatically rather than trying to make it work with a switch. This is...

This is a two-fold answer. If you have a 5th wheel installed in your truck, then to add the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 # AL57338 then you are required to drill two 5/16 inch holes for your air lines because the U-bolts will not work. If you do not have a 5th wheel installed, then there is no drilling involved in the installation of this unit. I have attached the installation instructions for you to review and how they apply to your truck.
