Quickly and easily install a 4-way trailer connector on your vehicle with this custom harness. T-connector plugs directly into existing wiring - no cutting, splicing or tapping required.

Installation
This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located beneath the rear of your vehicle, on the passenger's side.
Once installation is complete, the 4-way connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket (sold separately) is recommended to keep the connector secure.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.

Installed the receiver on my 2015 Ford Explorer. Fit perfectly. I guess you can say everything went without a hitch!! LOL
Used this on my2016 Ford Explorer #C56172 couldn’t have been easier plug It in tie it down. I ran mine on top of hitch. Only thing is they need to provide longer ties not a problem for me have different sizes in my shop.
Install was easy ,no modifications need ed.
The entire process from looking up my hitch and wiring online, to speaking with the Knowledgeable staff to place my order, then to receiving it, was a smooth process! Then the helpful videos on how to install was great!!! Never have I done business with a company that takes great care of their customers!! I will definetly be a returning customer!

The wiring system fit perfectly and it was fairly easy to install. I have ordered a number of items in the past from etrailer.com including hitches and other wiring systems. Save yourself some time and money and just go to etrailer for all of your trailering needs.

Really like the way the Curt trailer hitch receiver looks on my 2017 Explorer. Class III receiver should be adequate for my 19’ center console boat. Thanks.

Everything worked really well it was all plug and play made installation very easy
Very easy installation. Plugs into the OEM wiring system. Bought item with the Draw tite hitch (76034) and curt mounting bracket (C42CR). Primaryuse is to power my Curt LED auxiliary LED light on my bike rack and flexibility power trailer lights as needed. Used recently to tow a trailer on a long trip with zero issues.

etrailer has become my go-to source for towing-related products. Last year I bought a custom Curt receiver hitch and wiring kit for my 2014 Ford Explorer. Great product, easy installation for both.
This wasn't a surprise, because prior to this purchase, I bought a custom Curt receiver hitch and wiring kit for my 2012 Ford Taurus with equally positive results.
I did both installations myself.

Love it! Two receivers and two wiring kits. I know where to shop with confidence.
Install was easy. Video was spot on , on the wiring and hitch. Great products.
Perfect fit on my 2019 Ford Explorer XLT. The installation couldn't be easier, honestly. Truly plug and play. Now, I did have to buy a bracket to mount the 4-pole flat connector. I don't like the loose and flapping connector look. Other than that, installation was quick and painless as everything is already provided. I did go the extra mile and add dielectric grease, but that's just me being extra.
