2016 Ford Interceptor Utility Trailer Wiring Harness Availability

Question:
I am picking up a 2016 Ford Interceptor Utility which is based off the Explorer body. Will this trailer harness plug right in? The Interceptors are not offered with a towing package. However I know the hitch mounts the same.

The Ford Interceptor is based on the Ford Explorer so it is very likely that the Curt wiring harness part # C56172 would fit it.
What you can do is check out the install video I attached that shows this harness being installed on a similar 2015 Explorer and then check your vehicle once it arrives to see if the install connectors are there.
