We took our motor home from Ma. to Fl. After being in Fl. for a couple weeks, we heard a loud bang one morning right after getting up. We found a broken spring on one rear leveler. I was thinking big money. Went online and found etrailer. Found the spring that we needed. Placed an order and it came super fast. Putting the new spring on took around one half hour. Price on spring was not bad.

I bought this retracting spring for my leveling jack on my 1998 national tradewinds RV . It fits perfect and functions like the original. Very happy with it .
The staff at etrailer were exceptional. They worked hard to contact me when I filled the order out incorrectly the first time. Once the order was corrected I was kept informed during every step of the shipping process. I was treated with courtesy and respect.
This part had been hard to find in Canada and when one was located it was very expensive. It was needed to replace a exterior spring on one of the levelling jacks on our motorhome. To get the jack up I had to push up on the jack with a stick while my husband pushed the retract button inside the motorhome. Even then it would not go up all the way since the old spring was stretched.
The spring was exactly as described and was installed in our 1999 National Dolphin RV earlier this week. It works perfectly.
Perfect fit came with all the parts I didn't even realize I needed.

I ordered a set of four replacement springs for my rv leveling system they came in two separate boxes on different days when i got the first box a day early i was excited and opened it only to find one spring I called customer service to find out what happened and to my amazement i was treated like a real customer by a gentleman named paul even got a follow up email from him when I got the second package e trailer is now my go to for everything rv thanks e trailer for great customer support
I ordered this spring for my 20+ year old National RV with considerable trepidation. However, once I removed the existing rusted retaining bolt (i.e.: with a reciprocating saw and some strainage!), the new spring went on with very little effort. The RV leveler now retracts as it should, I've ordered another for the driver's side.
