Help Finding Trailer Wiring Connector for Installing 4-Way in 2017 Ford Explorer
Updated 02/27/2017 | Published 02/25/2017 >
Question:
I purchased a curt t-connector wiring harness with 4 pole flat trailer connector. When attempting to install, found that my 2017 Ford explorer only has one connector point with 6 pin holes top and bottom and 3 slits ? In middle. Appears there is no male ? connector point. Neither side of the T-connector fits in existing connector point on vehicle. What am I missing? I have a picture but dont know how to send here. Thanks for any help.

Sound like you found the wrong harness for trailer wiring. The connector should be a rectangular shape and up in the passenger side rear fender. I attached an install video that should help you find it.
