This Yakima BaseLine roof rack gives you everything you need to haul gear on your naked roof. The system includes two JetStream crossbars, four BaseLine towers, and a custom fit kit. With a weight capacity of 165 lbs, it’s built to handle the heavy loads that come with road trips, kayaking weekends, or camping adventures. Driving with crossbars doesn’t have to mean listening to constant wind noise. The JetStream’s aerodynamic shape helps reduce drag and vibration when you’re out on the highway. Rubber strips in the top channels stay in place and push down when you mount accessories, so there’s no trimming needed. They also help quiet things down even more by sealing the channel against whistling air.
Some racks make you cut rubber strips before adding accessories, but these don’t. The push-down strips let you press your gear mounts right into the top channels—no trimming or extra tools required. When the hardware slides in, the strips close back up around it to keep things snug and clean-looking. It’s a small detail that makes gear changes faster and easier.
These aero-style crossbars work with most universal cargo, water, snow, and bike carriers. Whether you’re throwing on a cargo box for a cross-country trip or loading up kayaks for the weekend, the setup gives you flexibility across seasons and activity types. The top channels accept channel-mount gear, and clamp-on mounts fit around the bars just as easily.
If you want theft deterrence when parked overnight or at trailheads, Yakima Same Key System (SKS) lock cores are available separately. They let you secure the rack using a single key system across your Yakima gear for peace of mind wherever you stop.

Tghe racks have remained on since I installed them correctly, no thanks to your video. I read the manual it came with.
