When you’re cruising down the highway with a full load on the roof, the last thing you want is constant wind noise. The JetStream crossbars have an aero-style shape that helps keep things quiet and steady. The rubber strips in the top channels press down around your mounts, sealing out gaps that can cause whistling and vibration. It’s a smoother, calmer ride without that constant hum overhead.
Whether it’s camping gear, kayaks, or a cargo box full of road trip essentials, this rack is built to handle it. With a 165-lb weight capacity (always stay within your vehicle’s roof limits), you can confidently haul all kinds of gear. The aluminum construction keeps it strong but light, so you get sturdy support without adding unnecessary bulk to your setup.
Some roof racks require trimming rubber inserts before you can mount accessories—these don’t. The push-down rubber strips in the top channels let you press hardware directly into place. No cutting, no extra steps. Once installed, the strips close back up around your mounts to help reduce wind noise and keep your setup looking clean.
If you want to add an extra layer of security, this system works with Yakima Same Key System (SKS) lock cores, sold separately. With those in place, you can deter theft of the rack and keep your gear secure when you step away from your vehicle.
This setup includes two 50" crossbars, four SkyLine towers, and a custom fit kit—all designed to mount to fixed points on your roof. It’s compatible with most universal cargo, water, snow, and bike carriers that attach using either top channels or clamps around the bars. Once it’s on, you’re ready to load up and hit the road for whatever trip comes next.

Tghe racks have remained on since I installed them correctly, no thanks to your video. I read the manual it came with.
