This Yakima BaseLine setup gives you everything you need to load up for your next trip. It includes two JetStream crossbars, four BaseLine towers, and a custom fit kit—all designed to mount securely to a naked roof. With a 165 lbs weight capacity, you can carry cargo boxes, camping gear, or watercraft with confidence. The aluminum construction keeps things strong yet lightweight for daily use or long hauls.
Driving with roof bars shouldn’t mean putting up with extra wind noise. The JetStream crossbars have an aero-style shape that helps reduce drag and sound at highway speeds. Rubber strips in the top channels push down around your accessories, sealing gaps that cause whistling and vibration. You won’t need to trim the strips—just press your mounts into place and go.
From summer kayaking trips to winter ski runs, these crossbars are ready for it all. The top channels accept T-slot mounts while the bar shape also works with clamp-on carriers. That means you can attach cargo boxes, bike racks, kayak cradles, or snowboard holders using the gear you already have. This setup keeps your load options open without needing brand-specific adapters.
You can upgrade the rack’s security with Yakima Same Key System (SKS) lock cores, sold separately. They let you secure both the rack and your mounts with one key, adding peace of mind when leaving gear on your roof during stops or overnight trips.
The aluminum bars are corrosion-resistant and finished in black for a clean look that holds up against weather and wear. Each crossbar measures 70" long x 2-3/4" wide x 1-1/8" tall, giving plenty of usable space for multiple attachments while keeping a solid stance on top of your vehicle. Once I got the correct Yakima part numbers they worked very well. I am very pleased!!
Ackage came 2 days early the install was somewhat easy (did it by myself)
Did not get to mount anything to it but seems really sturdy. One thing I can say is mark out your mounting points with provided stickers then put up and make adjustments to the roof rack.
These bars are the cats meow! Love the look of an aircraft wing. Easily supported our 2 kayaks.

Your notice of schemes was a lot better than the yakima site provided. They did not suggest the scheme you did.
But when the products arrived, the instructions were by yakima. Generally worked as instructed except the tower to tower transverse mounting dimensions needed to be tweaked for a perfect fit.
Really like these aero bars. Previous rack had round bars and these are noticeably quieter. Install was easy. Bars look and feel like quality equipment.
So far so good. Purchased these towers to use on a 2022 GMC Canyon with HD bars that I already had, primarily to carry my canoe. Yakima's fitting instructions worked perfectly and the whole system seems really solid.

Excellent solution for my 2023 Chevy Silverado. In the past, I have had rails installed on the roof of my pickup trucks, but I find the BaseLine towers to be a better solution, since they don't permanently change the truck. Plus, they are much more solid than SkyLine system on the rails.

These load bars are GREAT! I specifically bought these because they can comfortably handle any kind of sheet goods, including baltic birch plywood which comes in 5'x5' panels; it's much easier to securely strap down plywood when it's not hanging off the ends of the load bars.
These extruded aluminum bars are light enough that they're not a hassle to install and remove - I only put them on briefly when I need them, so I've had them on and off a dozen or so times and it's easily a one-person task.
They are of course very long, so I can't deny that there's more opportunity to bang your head on them when getting in/out of the car, but they are no wider than the footprint of the car (Subaru Outback) itself so they're not at risk of hitting a pedestrian or anything.

These are great, and it is so nice to get a custom base clips that match the angles and contour of the sides of your roof. Makes it look very clean. These are made very well and for sure these will last a long time like my other Yakima products.
Great UX for finding the options matching my car, and the baseline towers work great. Simple straightforward site, will plan to use them again when needed.
For those also buying crossbars for cars without roof rails, recommend taking a silver sharpie and marking the placement of the crossbars on the weather seal at the top of the door openings. Makes putting them back on way less of a hassle if you don’t want them on 24/7.

The JetStream crossbars are awesome. Unfortunately the box that these came ' in was damaged, and when I opened it both crossbars had scratches. It is only cosmetic, but when you pay top dollars for a good product you expect that it will be well packaged so is not damaged when shipped. If it wasn’t for the damaged packaging and scratches I would give it 5 starts.
Great product haven’t had any issues with it. Would highly recommend that anyone that’s looking for a roof rack system and a great seller at etrailer

Crossbars were supposed to have a blemish of some kind, but I couldn’t find it. Look to be new and in perfect condition. Very happy with my purchase and will definitely be looking to etrailer.com before purchasing from another site. Great communication, answered any questions in a timely manner.
