Item # Y8880039- I would like to install the plusnut on my pickup canopy, which is fiberglass. What are your thoughts on that?

The Replacement PlusNut Hardware Kit for Yakima Roof Rack Tracks # Y8880039 is the replacement hardware for the Yakima 42" Tracks for Roof Racks # Y01126 or the Yakima 54" Tracks for Roof Racks # Y01127 both these tracks include the PlusNut hardware. Since you have a fiberglass roof you will also need to get the Replacement Capnuts, Washers and Bolts # Y8810155 which is needed when installing on a fiberglass roof.

To have a complete roof rack you would also need to pick up the Landing Pad 1 for Yakima SkyLine and Control Towers # Y00221 which will come in a quantity of 2 so you would need to purchase 2 if you are wanting 2 crossbars. The landing pad would then work with the SkyLine Towers for Yakima Crossbars # Y72TR for 2 feet (1 crossbar) or # Y53TR for 4 feet (2 crossbars). This would allow you to use Yakima CoreBar or JetStream crossbars like the Yakima CoreBar Crossbars # Y00421 (50") or the Yakima JetStream Crossbars # Y00427 (70").The size of crossbar you can use will be determined by the vehicle you are using them on. You can measure the width of the vehicle where the tracks will be installed to determine how wide of crossbars you can get. I have linked our selection of Yakima Crossbars so that you can take a look after you get measurements. Adding the Yakima Same Key System (SKS) Lock Cores # Y07204 will allow you to secure the roof rack to your vehicle.
