Question:

I have a 2020 Honda RIdgeline and the BAK x4 Revolver, I want to install the Yakima Track system on the bed rails and be able to put the Yakima Lock N Load above the bed. I want to the tracks along the sides of the cover as to not interfere with them, but also be able to fairly easily remove the Lock N Load with the towers when I need to open the cover or when I am not using it. I was thinking probably the Skyline towers. 1. Im not sure if you can mount the track system to the bed rails. 2. What is required to install tracks. Parts/ tools I assume you have to get to the metal under the plastic somehow and fasten it? 3.If the Yakima Lock N Load will be able to connect directly to the Skyline towers as I do not want to use cross bars also because I would prefer to not add the extra height. I know they can connect directly, I just dont know the actual distance at the connection point and if the Ridgeline bed measurements work so that it will reach at points on the LockNLoad. - I know they have a few sizes and Im not sure what size to get, or if any size will span correctly to mount without crossbars. In order to install the Yakima LockNLoad Platform Roof Tray above a tonneau cover on a truck bed you will need to install a set of tracks alongside the bed rails along with a crossbar system. The crossbar system is needed because the tray is not wide enough to reach just the mounting feet on the tracks. I have attached the needed parts below:

In regards to the plastic bed caps, you will need to drill through these for installation.
