This Yakima BaseLine roof rack gives you a sturdy, dependable way to haul your gear. The system includes two JetStream aluminum crossbars, four BaseLine towers, and a custom fit kit for stable mounting on a naked roof. With a 165-lb weight capacity, it’s built to handle your weekend trips and everyday hauling without worry.
The aero-style crossbars are shaped to reduce drag and wind noise so the ride stays quiet and steady. Rubber strips line the top channels to help cut vibration and seal against airflow. Even at highway speeds, the aerodynamic profile keeps things smooth and efficient.
Mounting carriers doesn’t have to mean trimming rubber or fighting with inserts. On these bars, the top-channel strips press down so you can drop in hardware directly—no cutting needed. Once your carrier is in place, the strip closes back up to block wind and water from getting inside the track.
Whether you’re loading up cargo boxes, bikes, skis, or kayaks, the JetStream bars are compatible with most universal cargo, water, snow, and bike carriers. The design works with both top-channel mounts and clamp-around styles, giving you plenty of options for how you carry your gear.
You can add Yakima Same Key System (SKS) lock cores later for theft deterrence. They secure the rack components together so your setup stays put when you park at the trailhead or hotel overnight.

Tghe racks have remained on since I installed them correctly, no thanks to your video. I read the manual it came with.
