This Yakima BaseLine system delivers everything you need to start carrying gear on your vehicle’s naked roof. It includes two 50" long JetStream crossbars, four BaseLine towers, and a custom fit kit. The aluminum construction keeps the setup lightweight but strong, with a 165-lb weight capacity. Whether you’re loading camping gear or prepping for a weekend paddle, it’s built to handle your haul securely.
The aero-style JetStream bars have a sleek, tapered profile that helps smooth airflow over the roof and reduce wind noise and vibration. Rubber strips fill the top channels, sealing the surface and minimizing whistling at highway speeds. The result is a quieter drive that keeps the focus on your trip instead of the sound coming from above.
Mounting carriers and accessories is simple with Yakima’s push-down rubber strips. Instead of trimming pieces to fit hardware, just press your accessory mounts into the channel and they settle into place. The strips flex open for installation, then spring back to maintain a clean, sealed track that’s ready for the next loadout.
For extra security, this rack accepts Yakima Same Key System (SKS) lock cores (sold separately). Once installed, they help deter theft by locking the rack components together so you can leave your vehicle parked with confidence while you’re out exploring or stopped overnight on the road.

Tghe racks have remained on since I installed them correctly, no thanks to your video. I read the manual it came with.
