These steps lock solidly to the ground so there’s no bounce or flex when stepping in and out. Each leg adjusts individually in 1" increments for a total of 13", making it easy to level on uneven terrain. The stable design eliminates the springboard feel of typical fold-out stairs, and with a 500 lb weight capacity, you can count on steady footing every time.
The StepAbove gives you three full-size steps that feel like real stairs. Each tread is 23-1/2" wide and 8" deep, with a top step that measures 10-5/8" deep for extra standing room when you reach the door. The 8" rise between steps feels natural and makes it easier for kids, pets, or older family members to climb safely.
These steps combine a rustproof aluminum platform with a corrosion-resistant, powder coated steel frame. We had a wheel come off and destroy our folding steps. These new stairs are excellent. I had to do some minor cutting of the trim under the doorway that attaches the skirting on my fifth wheel, but it is likely , others would not have this type of trim. There are no instructions, so if you are not mechanical, you might want to hire someone. The installation is very simple, in most cases. These are so much sturdier than the OEM folding stairs. I highly recommend them. HOWEVER, if you are replacing under the door folding stairs, I highly recommend you also buy the storage box, or it will look like you have a big hole without it. I was worried about different slopes making the dimension to the ground unreliable. No worries. Morryde has considered that when they suggest the different stairs by dimension.
Was a little banged up but afTer a few straightenings and tweeks it fits and solid as advertised.

This is one of the best upgrades we have done to our trailer. It was easy to install, very stable, and A larger platform for going up and down. The legs are quick and easy to adjust. My only regret on this is not buying sooner and stopping the use of the original steps.

Really nice product!! Very happy with the purchase from etrailer. Had to modify both screen and entry door to accommodate the step threshold. Shorten the screen ¼” and remove the inside drip edge on the entry door. 2008 Montana 3000RK.
We love these steps. They have met our expectations. They give solid support going in and out of our RV. Installation was easy with provided instructions.

Great. I’m 77 years old and they have worked out perfectly for me. Very stable and adaptable. Due to constraints where I store the trailer I remove them for storage in the off season. This is very easy, even for an old guy. Zero complaints. They work exactly as expected.
I just installed these steps to replace the old fold up steps that were bent up. Extremely easy to install and are a very nice step. I would recommend to anyone looking to replace or upgrade their fold up steps.
the product arrived in good condition. The installation was easy I had a problem closing the door but after same small adjustment to the door it close well.
Amber V was super helpful and followed up to make sure all was well.
The steps are great. The hinge on our older version morryde steps froze up, so I feel good about the updated hinge design. The updated extension ratcheting is also a great improvement.
I ordered the three step for my fifth wheel camper but if I did it again I would order the four step model, installation was straightforward and looks to be a good investment! Thanks!
Had difficulty installing because the screen door and door had to be modified so they would close over the installed steps. This problem was outlined in the installation video but should probably be emphasized in the ordering info so folks don't initially think the steps are not correct. Very sturdy. Overall pleased with the steps.
We bought a new 2024 Reflection 150 series fifth wheel and doofus here hit the steps with our truck and bent them beyond repair. We called Kimberly at etrailer from the side of the road and after answering a few of her questions we had a new set of steps shipped to our winter destination. Two business days later they arrived and it took less than 15 minutes to remove the old and replace with the new one. Perfect fit! Thanks Kimberly!

No problems - works like a charm!
Overall, I am pleased with the steps themselves. Nice build quality and fit is what I expected. Unfortunately, the mounting screws were nowhere to be found. They are supposed to be taped to second step tread. The shipping box arrived torn up and looked like it had been retaped multiple times. I guess quality control is not what it should be.
Great investment and change from factory steps. Fit was great in our Montana 5th wheel. Factory steps hung to low following the axles,went through a dip, it didn't do them any good. Major improvement. Would buy again. Thanks etrailer

In the beginning I order the wrong size steps. My door opening is 27 3/4. I figured the 26 inch steps would work but they was too small to catch the lip on the door frame. Even tried to adjust the steps but they were still to small. I called and spoke with the team at etrailer and they was fantastic on helping me with my problem. They helped me pick the new set of steps and set up the return for the first set that I ordered wrong.
The new steps came in within 3 days. They are very sturdy and looks to be well built. The install was pretty simple. But I did have to cut part of the lip off of the door frame at the bottom 8 inches of the door on both sides. It was very tight and the steps would not fold down all the way. The instructions didn’t say anything about cutting the door jam. Once I had everything installed and folded out, I could walk up and down the steps very easily. I am a big guy 6’3 340 pounds. Not only did the steps support me, but it stabilized the camper from rocking when I stepped up in there. All, except cutting my door frame that I chose to do, went very good and feels like I will be happy with the purchase.

Glad to hear these new ones are working well for you, Scott! I, also being a big guy (6'5" and around 340 as well), know how it feels to step on something sturdy vs something not so sturdy. So I'm happy these aren't the "not so sturdy" kind of steps! ^___^ What did you install them on?
