Determining The Correct MORryde StepAbove For A 2022 Grand Design Transcend Xplor Travel Trailer
Updated 11/15/2022 | Published 11/13/2022 >
Question:
We are trying to determine if the MORryde Step Above, MR68RR, will work on our Grand Design travel trailer. We have measured the doorway and it seems that it measures between 27-1/2inch and 27-3/4. Will this model still work?

Expert Reply:
The mounting bracket on the MORryde StepAbove RV Steps for 27-3/4" to 30-1/4" Wide Doorways # MR68RR is 26-1/4" wide so you would be able to mount the steps in your door threshold. Most likely all you would need to do is adjust the door flange brackets (pictured below) to set them at the correct span for your doorway. You can use a socket wrench to loosen the bolts and slide the brackets to the appropriate position.
