Does the netting attach to the RV beneath the steps?

When you install the camper side panel of the Solera Family Room # LC362230 you will be trimming out an opening for the steps to pass through.
I have attached a link to the installation instructions below but here is a picture for you to understand what it will look like.
A set of MORryde StepAbove RV Steps # MR68RR are a great way to have steps without having to worry about cutting the panel. These type of steps fold up inside the door and as the legs go all the way to the ground the steps feel solid.
