Hello John,

The part number # STP-371FR-430-18N is an OEM MORryde part number used on certain Brinkley RVs for their factory-installed StepAbove steps. MORryde uses a lot of OEM-specific numbering for RV manufacturers, so those numbers do not always cross directly over to the retail replacement part numbers we carry.

Based on the information provided, the MORryde StepAbove RV Steps # MR68RR could be a direct replacement for your current steps. These are a 3-step setup designed to fit entry door widths between 27-3/4" and 30-1/4" and threshold heights from 30" to 33-1/2", which lines up with many Brinkley RV applications.

To make sure they will work correctly on your RV, you will want to measure the doorway width from inside flange to inside flange and also measure the threshold height from the ground to the top of the entry threshold while the RV is level. If those measurements match the specifications for # MR68RR, these should work great as a replacement.

Just in case they are not the right fit, I attached an image of the chart which easily helps you find the right replacement with a couple of measurements.

What happened the OEM steps, was it the kind of story that was not so funny at the time?

I actually used the stairs in a new home to access a crawl space and they worked great

These steps have worked very well for me. I am 78 y/o and have had multiple joint replacements, so I (and my wife) wanted stability when entering or exiting our RV. It has worked very well for us. They are very stable and easily adjust to varying heights and to uneven ground. The unique selling point for me, however, was the easily removed and replaced hinge pins. In the off season I park the trailer in a tight space between the house and a solid fence and it sits too near the house to allow the stairs to swing into position. I easily remove the steps and when I need off season access I can open the door and use a small ladder to access the interior. Probably not an important issue for most folks, but very useful for me.
