Whether you’re hauling kayaks, canoes, or cargo boxes, the Yakima BaseLine roof rack gives you the strength and stability you need. The complete system includes two JetStream crossbars, four BaseLine towers, and a custom fit kit. The aluminum bars measure 50" long x 2-3/4" wide x 1-1/8" tall and support up to 165 lbs, letting you load up confidently while staying within your vehicle’s roof capacity.
Wind noise can make long drives tiring. The JetStream crossbars use an aerodynamic profile and rubber strips in the top channels to help reduce vibration and sound. These push-down strips also seal the channels after mounting accessories, so the setup stays clean and quiet mile after mile.
Many racks require cutting rubber inserts before adding accessories—but not this one. The split rubber strip design lets you press mounting hardware directly into the top channels without trimming. It’s a straightforward setup that saves time and keeps installation neat and tidy.
No matter what you like to bring along—kayaks, bikes, skis, or cargo boxes—these aero-style bars are ready for it. They work with most universal carriers that attach in the top channels or clamp around the bars, giving you flexibility to mix and match your adventure gear without changing setups.
When you want peace of mind at the trailhead or campground, Yakima Same Key System (SKS) lock cores (sold separately) deter theft of the rack. It’s an easy upgrade that keeps your roof system secure wherever your trips take you.
