Now if you're replacing a damaged or worn wheel stud, this part is a direct replacement that's designed to restore the safe, secure connection between your trailer's wheel and hub. This replacement wheel stud is made specifically for the Dexter 008-401-72 trailer hub and drum assembly. So you're not going to have to worry about compatibility or modifications.
This is a press in or drive-in style stud, meaning this is going to install directly into the hub, just like that original. And let me get my ruler here just to confirm some measurements here with you. So looking at the overall length, as I hope you can see, we're sitting right at four and three quarters inches. It features half inch by 20 threads, providing that proper fit for your existing lug nuts and helping ensure that your wheel mounts securely.
