Today, we're going to review part number 12-2-1. This is the Deka Jacketed 12 Gauge 2 Wire Brake Wire. This is sold per foot. This duplex brake wire is made with 2 plastic insulated primary wires right here. You can see it at the end. They are laid parallel and they are covered with this high quality plastic jacket which protects the insulated conductors.
Now each conductor is color coated. You can see black and white. Usually when this is used on brake applications, the black would be your power, the white would be your ground. It gives nice, easy identification. This is designed for use with 50 volts or less. Now each wire gauge is a 12 gauge measurement and this wire is sold per foot.
