Video Transcript for Triplex Wire with Grey Outer Jacket Spec Review

Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at Triplex Wire with a Grey Outer Jacket. Now, the Triplex primary wire has an extra-tough polyvinyl jacket extruded over GPT insulated primary wire. Now, the inside conductors are color coded white, green, and black. I stripped that jacket back a little bit just so you could see the color coding there. The outer jacket is grey in color and it has a flat design to it. Now, this is recommended where wire must withstand extreme abrasion.

That's why that jacket is so important, because it protects the internal wiring. This is great for automotive and trailer applications. It's sold by the foot here at etrailer.com. The wire gauge for each wire is 14. That's going to do it for today's look at the Triplex Wire with a Grey Outer Jacket..

  • Troubleshooting No Stop or Turn Signal on One Side of Trailer
