I’m re-wiring my 18 foot trailer with 5200 lb axles with electric brakes. What size wire would I need to get

Hi Bruce,
Generally with electric trailer brakes, the wiring we recommend is 10 gauge, the Deka Jacketed 2 Wire, 10 Gauge Brake Wire # 10-2-1.
However, for since it's just an 18 foot trailer, 12 gauge is certainly acceptable as well, the Jacketed 2 Wire (Brake Wire) - 12 Gauge # 12-2-1.
Keep in mind this is sold by the foot; I also recommend heat shrink butt connectors # DW05745-10.
