You sure can Jason. The MORryde Motorized Cord Storage Reel item # MR66AR is designed to be wired to a 12v power source. Your trailer's battery will work perfectly for this.
To reach your battery you can use the 12 Gauge 2 Conductor Jacketed (Brake) Wire Per Foot item # 12-2-1. Since you're connecting the Storage Reel item # MR66AR directly to your battery, I recommend installing the In-Line Fuse Holder item # C58470-1.

I installed the motorized electric cord reel in the rear compartment of my motorhome. Was very easy to install. Had power already in the compartment for the rear slide out. 20 amp circuit. Since they will not be used at the same time, this was an easy way to power up. Seems to work good. Have not gone on a trip yet to really test it. Coming soon.
