Question:
I have an old camper frame that’s needs a whole light kit. Do you guys have a kit that has lights and a new 7-way plug to go along with it. The brakes currently work and I’d like to tie the old break wires into the new 7way plug. Do you guys have any kit like this?

Hello Ethan, thanks for reaching out. I see you already got a light kit ordered, but if you are wanting to redo the 7-way, we do have parts for that. It is best to run all you connections thru a junction box. That way everything is nice and neat and out of the elements. I recommend the following:
- etrailer Trailer Wiring 7-Way Upgrade Kit w/ Junction Box and RV Style Connector # e99011
Then you will just need to run 12 gauge wire # 12-2-1 to the brakes and run wire from your light kit to the junction box.
The article I linked will go over how to wire a trailer with a 7-way.
