Today we're going to be taking a look at the Draw-Tite Pin and Clip for Class 1 and 2 trailer hitch receivers, Part Number PC2. This half inch diameter pin and clip is going to fit your inch and a quarter by inch a quarter square receiver tubes. It's 4" long and features a pistol grip style handle, that way you can easily install it and remove it. It also keeps it from sliding all the way through. It's going to work out great for ball mounts, hitch cargo carriers, bike racks, or any other hitch mounted accessories. It's got a zinc plating that's going to help it resist rust and corrosion.

The 2" sleeve would not come out of the existing 2" receiver so I used the hitch adapter to make the transition. The etrailer experts correctly told me there would be some play in this joint. However, it works here (as this is not for towing).
I also used the 90 degree mount upside down (also not an approved application). But again no towing is involved. I did need to drill a new hole in the receiver.

All the parts ordered are of great quality and fit properly. Packaging needs work. The original box was ripped open and had been taped back together by the shipper(UPS). The hitch was still secure but the tow bar was loose and the pin and clip were missing. etrailer sent another pin and clip.
In the future possibly adding some fiber tape would lessen the chance of boxes being mangled.
We just wanted to tell you how much we appreciated your customer service. We were called Sunday evening, the day after Christmas, and told that the clip my husband had ordered wouldn't work with the other parts.
#1 We were surprised that anyone would be working the day after Christmas on a Sunday evening.
#2 A real person was looking at the order and realized the components ordered wouldn't work together.
#3 The real person called and corrected the ordered parts.
In these days of having to work our way through phone keyboard selections and live chat with computers, it was refreshing to have an actual person catch the problem ahead of sending us an unworkable element, calling us about it, and correcting the problem. We're leaving for FL for the winter on Friday and are planning on taking our bikes. The wrong part would have made our hitch unusable, thus forcing us to leave the bikes at home. With no time to order and receive the correct part, your employee helped to make our winter more enjoyable. Thank you so much.
Hitch looks good, Haven't used it yet but am sure it will be fine. However, I ordered 2 different sizes of pins. Was supposed to get 1 small pin (1/2") for the 1-1/4"x 1-1/4" part of the hitch and 1 large (5/8") pin for the 2"x 2" part of the hitch. What I got were 2 large (5/8") pins.
Good quality, but it turns out its too big for the cargo basket and 1 1/4 trailer hitch I had installed.
I have bought two trailer hitches and a cargo carrier. And, have been extremely pleased with all three. They are easy to install and high quality products.
It worked great. Leveled out the trailer perfect. Thanks again for your help, good product, and prompt delivery.

Okay so instillation was quite simple once I got the wires ran. So I had to remove the rear bumper for instillation of the wires. In the video it made it seem that it would be a quick instillation. 4-5 hours I spent intotal to install. It was about 3 hours with removal of the rear cover. It was so much easier taking off the bumper then trying to feed it like they showed.
Just what I needed to use my 2 inch bike rack on my 1&1/4 inch hitch.Very impressed with the heavy duty makeup of the product. I,m sure it will last longer than I will.
Clip interferes with safety chain hooks. Different size clips should be provided.
The retaining pin fits a Class I hitch, as promised, although the clip looks delicate.
The clip will be easy to take on and off, but I wish that there were a more secure type so I didn't have to worry about it on the road.
Everything I needed all the way down to the clips and cost effective. 52 yr. old grandma, and I was able to install it myself. Video on installation was helpful and gave me confidence to attempt the job myself.Instructions were very user friendly. etrailer.com all the way.

Order was processed quickly, delivery was very fast. Although corner of box was damaged, no parts were lost due to proper packing of smaller parts. cost was good. Product quality is very good.
I received the order within two days. My son installed the Hitch this past weekend with no problems.

It's a pin! nothing too crazy has been doing the job for a light duty trailer no problem. I did manage to bend the end of the pin on my first one somehow but I think it was due to a drop/getting stepped on etc. Still functions well
Good price. Bought an extra one since I didn't know it was already included in the trailer hitch purchase. Not sure if I just missed it in the description or it wasn't mentioned. Overall very happy with purchase and delivery speed.
Looks good so far. It’s a Christmas gift so won’t put it together til then but looks nice. It was recommended as one that will fit our odd size hitch receiver so hope it works.
I used this pin to install a 1,5 inch to 2 inch receiver adaptor. Appears to be good quality, didn't rattle and fit snugly.
It is a great product , only one thing i would change is to make the pin sold with a hole so the clip would go threw the pin in case the chains snag the clip.
