E-Trailer fits like a glove and is so easy to install. Thanks 577186

The retaining pin fits a Class I hitch, as promised, although the clip looks delicate. The clip will be easy to take on and off, but I wish that there were a more secure type so I didn't have to worry about it on the road. 607882

Good quality, but it turns out its too big for the cargo basket and 1 1/4 trailer hitch I had installed. 720140

The hitch adapter and 90 degree mount solved my desire to mount my electric wench on my auto trailer replacing the manual wench. See photo. The 2" sleeve would not come out of the existing 2" receiver so I used the hitch adapter to make the transition. The etrailer experts correctly told me there would be some play in this joint. However, it works here (as this is not for towing). I also used the 90 degree mount upside down (also not an approved application). But again no towing is involved. I did need to drill a new hole in the receiver. 716215

Hitch looks good, Haven't used it yet but am sure it will be fine. However, I ordered 2 different sizes of pins. Was supposed to get 1 small pin (1/2") for the 1-1/4"x 1-1/4" part of the hitch and 1 large (5/8") pin for the 2"x 2" part of the hitch. What I got were 2 large (5/8") pins. 446861

All the parts ordered are of great quality and fit properly. Packaging needs work. The original box was ripped open and had been taped back together by the shipper(UPS). The hitch was still secure but the tow bar was loose and the pin and clip were missing. etrailer sent another pin and clip. In the future possibly adding some fiber tape would lessen the chance of boxes being mangled. 421668

Okay so instillation was quite simple once I got the wires ran. So I had to remove the rear bumper for instillation of the wires. In the video it made it seem that it would be a quick instillation. 4-5 hours I spent intotal to install. It was about 3 hours with removal of the rear cover. It was so much easier taking off the bumper then trying to feed it like they showed. 421022

Do you have a question about this Hitch Pins and Clip?

  • Can a 1-1/4 - 2 Adapter be Used to Safely Haul a Cargo Carrier with a 2015 Toyota Corolla
  • The concept of a hitch adapter like the Brophy # HTAD is a good idea in theory but the problem with using one of those with a 1-1/4" hitch, like part # C11265 or # 24913 for your 2015 Toyota Corolla, is that it will reduce the weight capacity of your trailer hitch by 50%. Since those trailer hitches have a tongue weight rating of 200 lbs this means that the tongue weight will be reduced to 100 lbs. If you were to use all of this for the 24x60 Curt Cargo Carrier # C18153 you would only...

However it's a Class I hitch so the Class II MaxxTow Adapter # MT70032 will not fit in the hitch. They're both 1-1/4 inches but the Draw-Tite has a stopper inside of it to prevent you from overloading the Class I hitch with Class II accessories. Instead you can use the Brophy # HTAD. Then you will be able to install the MaxxTow Load Extender # MT70231. You'll also need to be mindful...

As of right now we only carry one wiring harness for your Trax, the Tekonsha # 118751. It plugs into a factory connector that's in your rear cargo area under the floor cover and some interior paneling. Then you'll need to run a wire to the Trax's battery through the included fuse holder. The fuse is included as well. This harness...

If you have the ground effects the trailer frame that will work with your car is part # 24894. This is also a Class l hitch with a 1-1/4 inch receiver opening. The fact it is a Class II is important because it will allow you the use of more accessories and has a larger tongue weight capacity (350 lbs) and towing capacity (3,500 lbs) than the other hitch that fits your car, the Class I Curt Trailer Hitch # C11527. If your Impreza doesn't have a knock out panel then you're going to need a 1-1/4 inch hitch which I suggest the Draw-Tite Sportframe Class I # DT24959 since you have the hatchback and not a sedan. The trouble with using an adapter like this with your 1-1/4-inch hitch and 2-inch bike rack is that the addition of the adapter causes you to lose half of your hitch capacity.
