Hitch Fit for 2007 Honda Element SC

Which hitch fits a Honda Element SC?

If you're wanting a Class I hitch with a 1-1/4 inch receiver, you'll want to go with the Curt # C11699 for a 2007 Honda Element SC, as the # C11700 isn't a fit for the SC model.

This being said, I'd recommend going with a Class III hitch with the 2-inch receiver opening, like part # e78KR. The 2-inch receiver is much more common, and there are a lot more available accessory options for the 2-inch receiver such as cargo carriers or bike racks. The price differential between the 1-1/4 inch and 2-inch receiver models is pretty small, so there's not too many reasons not to go with the more common option.

If you have a 1-1/4 inch accessory, you can always use a reducer sleeve like # HT02 which will not reduce the capacity of the hitch.

If you'll be towing with the hitch, you'll also need a trailer wiring harness like # 118465 as well as a ball mount and a trailer ball.

If you go with the 1-1/4 # C11699 hitch, you'll need the # C45521 ball mount, a # PC2 hitch pin and # 19256 for a 1-7/8 inch or # 19258 for a 2 inch trailer ball.

If you decide on the # e78KR 2-inch hitch, use the # 2753 ball mount and # 19260 for a 1-7/8 or # 63845 for a 2 inch hitch.
