Video Transcript for Feature Breakdown: TireMinder Sport Tire Pressure Gauge

What's up, everybody It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna be checking out in the TireMinder Sport. It's gonna be a tire pressure gauge. It's gonna go from five to 150. Let's check it out. The Sport's gonna be very portable so you can throw it in the glove box.

It'll be there when you need it. You can put it anywhere else in your vehicle and not take up a lot of space with it. I like how easy it is to use too. You have the one button here you push to change the units of measurement from PSA PSI to bar to kpa and kilograms. We're gonna stick with PSI today though, it's also back lit so even if you are in the dark, you can still read the digital readout and it's got a light here up front so it'll help you get it connected to the valve.

Now it doesn't thread on or anything, you just push it into place and it'll give you the reading. So let's do that now. Do it so you can see it. It might be upside down, but we push it on to the valve. It's just gonna get a reading and when you let go of it, it'll stay in place there, too so 33.5 that we have in this back tire.

Compared to some other tire pressure check gauge. I'm gonna compare it to the pin style one that's a commonly known one. Cameraman Tom has three of 'em. He says they all read differently so those don't always give you an accurate reading but with the digital readout it's gonna tell you exactly what it is. There's no guesswork in there.

I like that part of it. The only negative I would say is it does run on batteries so eventually it will run out. But if you're just using it really quickly you're not gonna be leaving this on. You can't leave it on. You hit the button, it turns itself back off so you don't have to worry about leaving it on and draining those batteries. I think it's gonna be a good thing to have in the glove box just in case. If you're out and about you wanna check real quick like they're looking low, check it just to make sure it's where you're at. That way you can find somewhere to air it up. Now to check the accuracy of the digital Sport. Let's check an analog gauge here. (air whooshing) Looks like it's about 35 psi so the readings are pretty close to each other. It's also gonna work well with bikes. So anything with a trailer valve and from five to 150 psi, it's gonna work with. So I like having this on just to check. Nice excitement. The trailer, my PSI on my tires, let's see if I need to add a little bit more. (indistinct) Overall, I do like having this. It's nice to have it on hand just in case. That way you can check whatever tires you need to and just peace of mind kind of just looking at it and being like, "Looks a little bit low." I can use it real quick. Find out if it is or isn't and go about my day. Well, I think that does it. Thanks for hanging out. Hope this helped.

Second time I've ordered from etrailer.com. The items were shipped right away and I received them quickly. It couldn't be better for FREE SHIPPING! Today I install my new brake controller with wiring harness. I've never installed one before; etrailer has lot's of helpful information, photos, reviews, and a video. Thank you etrailer for great communications, prices, etc. The rest is up to me!

This was just what I was looking for in a small, accurate tire pressure gauge. It's easy to use and handy to store because it is so small. Much better than a pencil type gauge for accuracy!

Seems to work as the company presented it on their website. Now that I have it, I will probably order a larger one next time. The light is very nice and automatically goes off in about 15 seconds after use. It does have four different options of your preference on the digital reading.

I found the gauge easy to turn on and use. The on board light is a plus. I was able to get rid of a bunch of other tire gauges. This one should be around for a while.

by:

Great pressure gauge, great price for a hard to find handy tool. Going to keep one in every vehicle.

by:

Nice, compact tire gauge. It has a built in light, which will be handy.

by:

Works good, and color is great to keep from losing it or miss placing it.
Thanks etrailer

I am very pleased with the products I received, and the promptness with which they were received is better than that other online company!

  • Bias VS Radial For Small Trailer Tires for Hybrid Travel
For a trailer tires I prefer bias ply over radials for typical use. If you were full time travelers I would go for the added expense of radials with longer tread life and cooler running temperatures. For more typical users who can expect the tires to run out of time before tread, I would use the less expensive bias ply tires. However you present what appears to be hybrid use; Some long trips then long idle times. If you have had good experience with bias ply tires, I would not change,...

  • Setting Maximum and Minimum Tire Pressure Limits For a TPMS System With Notification Alarms
The TPMS that came on your 2022 Rockwood Mini Lite 2204S allows you to manually set the minimum and maximum tire pressure limits similar to how the TST TPMS for RVs # TST-507-RV-4-C does. You will want to fill your tires to the 65psi that is indicated on your tires. This should be done when the tires are cold to ensure proper pressure. I do recommend using a separate Tire Gauge like the # TMG-Sport to ensure that the sensors are accurate as well. Do remember that as the tires warm up...
