Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Trimax two-inch Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock and Surge Brake Coupler Lock Set. Now this is going to include a receiver lock for your Class III, IV, and V two-inch trailer hitch receivers, and then a coupler lock that has a two and a half inch span that's going to fit two-inch to two and a half inch wide lever latch couplers and surge brake couplers. As you can see, these locks do feature an advanced locking cylinder, so these are gonna be harder to pick and drilled in some standard locks. And the tube keys here are gonna be more challenging to duplicate. So just giving you a brief demonstration of how easy these are going to be to lock and unlock.
So you're not gonna be struggling in the back of your truck to get things locked up and secured. So you are going to get four keys. By the way, I wanted to point out that this does have a tethered, both of these do. A tethered rubber cap here to keep that keyway free from dirt, debris, moisture. And it's got a really good seal on it as you can see.
So this cap is going to make these locks weather resistant and you're gonna be able to use this in all seasons. So four keys, one key is going to control everything here. So you can keep one key on your person and maybe give another key to someone else and use the other two as backups. So that's a nice feature so you don't have to worry about having a bunch of keys on your person. These are constructed of stainless steel, so they're gonna hold up really well to the elements that they're gonna be exposed to.
They're gonna be resistant to rust obviously and corrosion. So these should last you a good long time. So let me get my ruler here and just give you some rough measurements. So looking at the overall length here of our trailer hitch receiver lock. We're sitting pretty close to six inches end to end.
And then looking at that span or that inside pin length. It looks like we're sitting right at two and three quarters inches. And then on our surge brake coupler lock here, overall roughly five and almost three quarters inches long overall. And just to confirm that inside pin length there that I mentioned at the beginning of our time together, inside to inside, right about two and a half inches as I said. The pin diameter here is going to be five eighths of an inch, which is standard. But again, durable construction. It's gonna last you a good long time. It's a great set to pick up to protect your investment. Now if you do decide that this set is going to work for you, after you get this installed, we would love to hear back from you, whether that's a review on this product page, an email, or a phone call. We'd love to hear how these were working out for you, how you're using them, how they're holding up for you, and even send us photos of your setup. We would love to take a look at how you are using these. Well, that's gonna wrap up our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
