Replace your worn strut that won't hold a heavy lid open with this 20" gas strut rated at 90 lbs. It keeps the lid open while you're accessing larger or heavier stored items without it dropping.

Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this RV designer gas strut. Now this is a gas strut that's kind of like a support arm that you see holding things up like your RV doors, truck caps, or storage compartments. So its main job is to make opening and closing, rather, smoother and safer. This is built to last with a durable black finish. Lining this up here, again.
I'm gonna find my tape measure here and I just want to give you the length measurement. So measuring center of socket to center of socket, as I hope you can see, we're sitting right at 20 inches, and this is gonna give you about 90 pounds of lifting force, which is gonna help take some of that weight off when you lift something like a cargo door or bed platform. So instead of slamming it shut, this strut is going to control the movement, so it opens easily and it closes in a more controlled way. This does not include the ball studs, so this will just attach to your current ball studs. But I think that's gonna wrap up our look today.
Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
