Question:

I have a 2022 Honda HRV all wheel drive. I want to carry 2 60 lb. Ebikes. I have the Hollywood e-bike rack already. I use it on my Murano. Will my HRV safely accommodate that much weight and still drive and brake ok? Normally the car would be carrying 400 lbs worth of passengers.

Yes, your 2022 Honda HR-V will be perfectly fine carrying a couple 60 lb ebikes on the Hollywood Racks Destination E Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes # HLY66ZR.

Hi Kyle-I’m getting differing answers to my question. I’d love it if you were right. HRV owners manual doesn’t list a towing capacity. Google says HRV has a towing capacity of 1,100 lbs. I’m told that bikes plus rack can only be 10% of towing capacity. That would be 110 lbs. my 2 bikes plus Hollywood rack is almost 200 lbs. Am I missing something? Thanks, Eric

@EricS You're not missing anything; you can go by the tongue weight capacity of your hitch, which if you have the EcoHitch you were checking out, is 300 lbs.
