Is Hollywood Racks Destination E-Bike Rack Okay to Use to Carry Aventon Adventure2

Question:
Any feedback for this rack being used for an Aventon Aventure2 step-through? Aventon specs their bike at 77 lbs., I assume this includes battery which is just under 10 lbs. Without battery, at 67 lbs. would you recommend this for a rack rated for 70 lbs.? I realize the Sport Rider is rated at 80 lbs., but much prefer the ramp option. Thanks!

Hey Ron, if you are okay with removing the battery of your Aventon Adventure2 step thru the Hollywood Racks Destination E Bike Rack # HLY66ZR that you referenced would be a really great option. Removing the battery would get the bike weight down to what this rack is compatible with plus it has the ramp you like and the easy to use bike frame clamps. Is removing the battery something you'd be okay with?

Hi Jameson, Thank you for your quick response. As a first time buyer at this, I appreciate feed back from someone with experience to narrow the options. No problem removing the battery for transport, should work fine to cover the open area on the bike to keep out unwanted elements.
