Extensive Testing
InfiniteRule products undergo extensive third-party testing to determine shear strength. The shear strength is determined by placing the locking pin in a stress position and subjecting it to increasing force until a required proof load (maximum force received without deformity) is met or the pin fails. This lock has a shear strength of 42,000 lbs.

This hitch will be used with my new Kuat bike trailer.
I like it, but it doesn't work/fit with the bike rack I got it for. The hole through which it needs to go is too small. Good news is that I need a different bike rack so hoping that it will work with that one.
Appears to be very well machined, good quality and a nice smooth release. Hopefully with proper maintenance it stays that way. I also should add an extra mention for Tiffany. There were some issues during shipping and she was very helpful in getting everything sorted.

Lock works well, like that it's stainless steel, O-ring sealed, I don't use it on a daily basis, but the times I have leaves me feeling my ball platform, trailer is secured.
Have used the infinite rule locking pin for a few years now on my 1 ton has been great so I ordered one for my half ton
Hi I purchased the tow hitch and receiver cap cover and the key lock bolt all first rate quality.

Solid build quality. I follow the youtube channel;bigtruckbigrv; who strongly recommends a hitch lock when parking in any public area. During the summer i ride an e-bike and use a hitch carrier into the Colorado mountains worth serious coin, don't want anything stolen from a state parking lot. While this added security won't be used for months; Id rather have it than be furious later for an avoidable theft.
This does not fit a 2006 ford explorer. The 7pin plug is too close to the reciever. The pin goes through but the lock will not go on the pin. The pin will not go in the other way. O have these on my 2006 f250 and they work great so far!

Hitch Lock has done all I have asked it to -- successfully helping me tow my collector car to various events around the country. The stainless steel provides great shear strength, with no corrosion. The lock is yet an additional security measure for my trailer and contents.

The Hitch Lock continues to do all I have asked it to. I have towed my car hauler with my collector car inside to various concours and show events around the country safely and securely. Very satisfied with this product.
This lock fits perfectly on my 2" receiver to lock on the Nighthawk tow bar.

A tight fit inserting on the 2020 Traverse Premier but with the lock and key on the right side of the receiver, this works fine. Solid construction. Lock works smoothly. Great sense of security.
