Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a quick look at this InfiniteRule hitch lock for two inch Toyota truck and SUV trailer hitch receivers. Now this heavy duty stainless steel flush style hitch lock is going to provide superior security when locking a ball mount or an accessory to your two inch hitch. And again, this is designed specifically for your 2015 and newer Toyota truck and SUV with the two inch trailer hitch receiver. And if you notice here, the grooved pin head is gonna be very easy to grab. And we also have a weather-resistant tethered dust cap that's gonna do a great job of keeping water and debris out of the keyways.
You are going to get two keys, and I'm gonna go ahead and just give you a brief demonstration of how to unlock this. So you'll stick the key in, and then you'll turn this counter-clockwise, like you're unscrewing a bolt. If you notice this is beginning to come apart here, and then as I keep turning and it comes unlocked. If you notice, we do have an O-ring here that's gonna protect those internal components from dirt and grime. Stainless steel construction, so very durable, corrosion-resistant.
To lock it up, you'll just connect the two ends. And now I'm gonna turn clockwise like I'm tightening a bolt, and hopefully you can see the two ends start to come together. And then once it's tight, you're just going to bring the keys to the nearest set of hash marks there around the ring. And then that's going to allow you to remove the key. And then I'll just replace that cap, and we'll be good to go.
Let me retrieve my ruler here and give you some measurements. So looking at the overall length, just end to end, real basic measurement there, bring that in frame. Looks like we're sitting pretty close to about five and three quarters inches it looks like. And then probably the most important length is going to be the inside pin length or the span inside to inside there. And it looks like we're sitting right at three and one eighth inches.
This does have a sheer strength of 16,000 pounds. Very durable. Very robust.
