For your 2022 Tesla Model 3, I recommend the # 391TES317 (if you just plan to mount accessories) or the # 391TES317T (if you plan to tow). The reason why I recommend different hitches based on mounting accessories or towing is because the # 391TES317 is not constructed to be used with towing applications. These hitches are completely hidden, so you do not need to worry about the eyesores that come with hitches with exposed bulky crosstubes. For a great compatible locking hitch pin, I recommend the InfiniteRule Hitch Lock for 2" Hitches - 2-5/8" Span - Stainless Steel # 34061071-D.

As far as weight capacity, the # 391TES317 offers 350 pounds of maximum tongue weight capacity while the # 391TES317T provides the same maximum tongue weight in addition to the 3,500 pounds of maximum gross towing capacity.
