Yep, it sure does, a Gen-Y Torsion weight distribution shank is absolutely compatible with the Curt TruTrack Weight Distribution System & Sway Control - 15,000 lbs GTW, 1,500 lbs TW # C17501.

The holes on the Gen-Y shank are spaced apart the correct amount to be compatible with the TruTrack # C17501, so it will fit, but more importantly, the Gen-Y Torsion shank will absorb road shock for a much more comfortable ride. There are options for both a 2 inch and 2-1/2 inch hitch, and both give you a 6-1/2 inch drop or rise:

- 2 Inch Hitch: Gen-Y Torsion Weight Distribution Shank # 325-GH-1202

- 2-1/2 Inch Hitch: Gen-Y Torsion Weight Distribution Shank # 325-GH-1102

The other thing I highly recommend is adding a lock to protect your investment in the shank; the best option is an InfiniteRule lock, which is tough as nails with a 42,000 lb shear strength. The right one will depend on if you have a inch or 2-1/2 inch hitch, so either the InfiniteRule Hitch Lock for 2-1/2" Hitches # 34061072-D or InfiniteRule Hitch Lock for 2" Hitches # 34061071-D.
