  The Blue Ox # BX88177 consists of two 1/2 inch diameter and 2 5/8 inch diameter pins. They are only able to have the 4 keyed alike. The measurement is 4-3/8 inches between the opening like # BX88212 which cannot be keyed alike . The only option to get all ten keyed alike is to use the DeadBolt Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock - Extra Long - Flush Design for 2-1/2" Trailer Hitches # e98881 which measures 3-5/8 inches between the outside cylinders. • Having Trouble Getting Key To Turn On Blue Ox Hitch Lock BX88212
  If the key won't turn at all it could be a stuck tumbler. I recommend getting some WD40 and spraying it into the key hole. Use the key to work the WD40 into the lock core inserting and removing the key several times. Eventually, hopefully the lock core will release and work again. Otherwise, the lock might be beyond saving and will need to be replaced.

  The OEM receivers on the newer Tacoma and Tundra models are wider than what's usually seen, so a longer lock is needed (as you seem to already know). We came up with a lock that has a inside span of 3-5/8 inches which works perfectly with those Toyota OEM hitches, part # e98881. Normally it's the tongue weight of the trailer that pins the ball mount to the hitch tube which keeps it in place and not the hitch pin.
