Features:

2 Brackets let you install a keel roller on the tongue of your boat trailer
- Accepts a 5/8" roller shaft
Holes allow for height adjustment during installation

These mounting brackets sandwich around the trailer's tongue and attach with 3/8" diameter bolts (not included). Multiple holes in the brackets make it easy to adapt to the different heights of trailer frames and also to ensure that the roller will be mounted at the proper position.

Determining Roller, Bolt and Shaft Length

To determine mounting height, add 1" to your trailer's tongue width to determine the necessary length of the 3/8" mounting bolts (not included).

To determine roller width, add 2" to your trailer's tongue width.

To determine 5/8" roller shaft length, add 3" to your trailer's tongue width.

Galvanized Steel

Galvanized steel parts are hot-dipped in zinc after being stamped. This creates a coating that is typically 3 mil to 5 mil thick. This thick, all-around coating allows galvanized steel products to provide years of use without rusting or corroding.

I bought a used boat and purchased these brackets to replace the original bent keel roller bracket on the trailer. They fit perfect, appear to be Sturdy, and I appreciate that they are galvanized.

Great brackets at a great price. My only serious complaint about keel rollers is the use many of PALNUTs. I absolutely hate PALNUTs. They suck. Impossible to get off and not re-useable. The brackets, rolers, and everything else great. Get a 5/8 x 6 1/2 hex head bolt and locknuts. Use a sledge hammer to destroy any PALNUTs you encounter.

The trailer works fine. The axle has a leak in a weld and it drips water for a week or more after use. It will eventually rust the inside of the axle. Otherwise, a good product.

They are the same length as original same shape but full 1/2 inch narrower making them much weaker and I am replacing because original bent beyond use.

You will only need one keel roller assembly, and I recommend the CE Smith - which is also made in the USA - because they come with a full assembly as opposed to having to piece together parts, which can be more costly. Replacement for 11-1/4" Keel Roller with Shaft and End Caps
The best size replacement keel roller we have is the Yates Keel Roller for Boat Trailers part # YR12000 for black, part # YR1200B for blue, or part # YR1200Y for yellow which all measure 11-3/4" long with a 5/8" diameter shaft. Will Yates 10 Inch Keel Roller Work on a Calkins Boat Trailer with 4600 Pound Bayliner Boat
Yates keel roller # YR10000 is made of heavy duty rubber so it should be no problem when used with other rollers of the same size for your 4600 pound Bayliner boat. The capacity is going to be based more on the brackets than the rollers though so if the brackets are good then the rollers can handle the weight. If I understand what you're trying to do I think we can help. We have the Adjustable Mounting Brackets for Keel Rollers # CE32004G. They'll install onto your trailer's frame and will hold a keel roller that is the width of the frame plus 2 inches. If you need a 10 roller # YR1000Y will work on the brackets using # CE10726A. Does Yates Keel Roller for Boat Trailers - Super-Heavy-Duty Rubber Have an Inner Steel Tube
The boat trailer rollers like Yates # YR8244-105EC do not have a steel tube on the inside. They do have nylon bushings at either end but the rest of the roller is solid rubber. Trailer Roller Bunks and Keel Roller Recommendations for a River Raft
It sounds like you are looking for roller bunks such as # DL21741. These are 5 foot long sections (2 in a package) and are the longest we have available. Each section has 12 sets of rollers. They can be mounted directly to a wooden bunk or to the frame by using bracket kit # DL21742. If you are looking for a keel roller we have a 5-1/2 inch model # YR5244-105EC but no 6 inch. The next size up is 8 inches. With it you can use shaft # CE10722A with brackets # CE32004G or # CE10301G.

Generally speaking, it is not recommended to bore out the holes on the roller brackets # CE10211G because doing so could weaken the brackets. Adjustable mounting bracket # CE32004G would be a much better option. We also have # MBSPB as a possible option.
