Galvanized Steel

Galvanized steel parts are hot-dipped in zinc after being stamped. This creates a coating that is typically 3 mil to 5 mil thick. This thick, all-around coating allows galvanized steel products to provide years of use without rusting or corroding.

Worked perfectly for my trailer. Helps keep the boat straight on the trailer even in the wind

The product seems very sturdy and I hope it works better than the last one I tried. My boat did not like the harder nylon. It didn't roll when there was weight on it. See pictures.

The only thing is I lost one end snap nut , replaced it, and all is good, working good on trailer, helps Jon boat go on perfectly every time.

I was looking for an easier way to load/unload my rather heavy fishing kayak and thought about the roller system found on boat trailers. I've bought from etrailer in the past so I went to their website and found just what I was looking for. I placed my hassle free order, which promptly arrived. I was impressed with how heavy duty this thing really was. I mounted it on my truck bed extender and it works great. I ordered the 12" roller because my kayak has two openings on the bottom for the transducer and a bigger one to accommodate the pedal drive system, which always got hung up on the bed extender.

Wanted to make an end loading kayak rack that wouldn't make me drag the boat's bottom across it. These rollers make it very easy to load the kayaks on it. Exactly what I needed.

After buying the correct u-bolts, we fastened the roller bracket to the trailer cross member. The roller seemed a bit too far ahead for correct boat weight distribution, but it was easy to move the roller back on the cross member, thanks to the slotted bolt holes in the bracket. The roller works great now.

Looks like quality products. I think the prices were very reasonable. So far so good.

It's a strong bracket with a 12" roller. Carry's me 20 foot deck boat. Delivery was faster than expected

Everything is great (5-star). However, I must return the roller bracket for a refund, as the mounting holes do not match up with my trailer.

The 12” roller replaced a 4” roller. To accommodate height restrictions the roller was fastened with plate horizontal. It has worked great since then and being able to hit front roller has made loading boat a breeze.

The 12” keel roller replaced a 4” one. This was a super change. It has made loading my boat much easier and the 12” roller has worked great for 1 and a half years and was easy to install.

Easy to order, parts are heavy and solidly made. Company followed up by email to ensure order was received.

This is exactly what my boat trailer needed. It's heavy duty, easy to install and should last as long as the trailer does..

Well made. I use these on my freshwater boats without any issues.

Great products. No issues.

These parts are manufactured with extremely heavy duty rollers and brackets. The galvanizing on the bracket is excellent. These parts will last forever. I'm very satisfied with the quality, price, and service I got from etrailer.

Great. The parts are made to last.

Great roller, just what I needed to get my trailer back in shape.

I am very happy with Etrailer. This is my 3rd order in the past 4 years and all parts have to do with a early 70s shoreline boat trailer which carries a 1975 Seacraft Safari. The personnel are very helpful and shipping excellent. Very pleased with the tires and wheels I got in 2011. I will be finishing up installing the parts I got this year in the near future when I pull my boat. I will let you know if I have any issues.

Great product with proper hot dip galvanizing. Very heavy duty system with long lasting solid rubber roller. Best part is the low price!! Best on the Net. Thanks again folks!

Mark B.

Still working fine. No rust, no issues!!

Got the order when they said and in good shape. Packed well, great products at a reasonable price. The wiring harness specific to my truck made a quick and easy job of getting trailer lights working. Thanks, etrailer! I will order again and am recommending etrailer to everyone.

Just installed them. The first ones lasted on our bulkhead steps down to Puget Sound for about 17 years, then rusted and froze. Hope these last just as long!

Bob U.

One has come loose recently and we are needing to secure it again.

I ordered a pair of bunks, mounting brackets and 4 rollers from etrailer. The parts arrived when promised. All of the components supplied were great quality at a fair price. Internet shopping was easy with their website. I will certainly use them again. They deserve my five star review

I have a 1990 Shore Boat Trailer all galvanised, except the bearings, brakes and roller shafts, etc. This replacement will work perfectly. Thank you for the expediency on my order. Richard

Came on time, good rugged roller. I mounted them to the side of my dock so I could roll my hobie kayaks up on the dock. They work great for that. My only issue was on of the end caps on on roller had come off during the shipping, there for the assembly came apart. I reassembled it and hammered the end cap back on. If it stays together I'll be happy, if not I'll have to come up with a fix for that one.

Worked as intended after some maintenance and modification. The retaining caps on each end of the shaft are not secure. The shaft will come loose and you will lose the roller on the freeway somewhere if you don't take care to fasten them correctly. Two of the four assemblies I had came apart. Fortunately no damage to my boat but I feel sorry for whoever encountered the rollers behind me.

Great product, 12in. Keel roller assembly, shaft and bracket. Finding this website was easy and a great score. Very happy with the staff knowledge and the product pictures and discriptions. Shipped in days. Keep up the great service!

Just what I was lookin for!

  • Roller Capacity of CE Smith Deep V Keel Roller Assembly for Boat Trailers
CE Smith Deep V Keel Roller Assembly # CE10405G doesn't have a stated weight capacity because a keel roller is not designed to carry the bulk of a boat's weight. That is the job of the bunks. Also, it is not a good idea to mount any of these boat support components to the trailer axles. Doing so would allow the forces from bumps to be transmitted directly to the boat's hull. Items that support the boat itself should be mounted to the trailer frame, which is then isolated from the road...

  • How To Add a Keel Roller to a Ranger Boat Trailer
I do have some great options for you but I don't exactly know the layout of your trailer frame so it will really be up to you to make the best choice for your trailer and needs. That said, I can help with this. I recommend simply selecting a keel roller that is the same size as the existing The CE Smith Deep V Keel Roller Assembly part # CE10405G for example measures 12" long and comes with a mounting bracket that simply requires a set of u-bolts that match your frame. • Dimensions of CE Smith Deep V Keel Roller Assembly CE10405G
I do not have a technical/engineering drawing of the CE Smith Deep V Keel Roller Assembly # CE10405G that I can send to you but I did take one from our warehouse to measure it for you. Many of these measurements are shown on the photo I prepared for you. Overall height taken from the bottom of the mounting surface up to the center outside edge of the roller is 4-1/4-inches. The tallest part of the bracket itself (measured where the roller shaft is) is 3-3/8-inches. The sides of the bracket...

  • Will the Deluxe Roller Bunk, # DL21741, Work with an Angled Bottom Boat
The 5 ft long Boat Trailer Deluxe Roller Bunk, 12 Sets of 3 Rollers, # DL21741, will work with flat or angled bottom boats. The rollers offer universal mounts and can attach either vertically or horizontally. This bunk system can be mounted flat against your current bunks and it is recommended that you match the length of the rollers to the length of the bunks. You will want to ensure that your bunk boards are in their correct position where they conform to the shape of the boat for ease...

  • Do Rollers and Bunks on Boat Trailer Both Support Boat Weight
In general the bunks typically support most of the boat's weight and the rollers are mainly there to act as guides but they too also support some of the boat's weight. It sounds like the placement and height setting of the rollers on your trailer are in need of changing so that the rollers and the bunks support and guide the boat in the best way possible. Another option you might consider is converting the bunks to roller bunks like the part # DL21741 which will allow your boat to roll...

  • What Are Keel Rollers For On a Boat Trailer and Should I Add One
The keel rollers on a boat trailer are deigned to absorb shock while loading and launching your boat so you don't put as much stress on other components such as the bunk boards. The correct one will be chosen based on the shape of your boat's hull and the dimensions of the trailer frame. The CE Smith Deep V Keel Roller Assembly part # CE10405G is a great universal option. The only other thing you would need is u-bolts like the CE Smith U-Bolts part # CE15283GA-2 that match your frame. I...

  • Replacement Keel Roller for my Calkins Boat Trailer
I have a couple of solutions but the sizes aren't exactly what you're after. I instead recommend using the CE Smith Deep V Keel Roller Assembly for Boat Trailers part # CE10405G to replace the 11.5" roller you currently have. This will allow for adjusting it to match your boats hull. Use CE Smith U-Bolts part # CE15283GA-2 if your hardware is missing or damaged. For the 7.5" use the CE Smith Deep V Keel Roller Assembly for Boat Trailers part # CE10403G with the same hardware as mentioned...

  • Weight Capacity And Parts Needed For Modifying Boat Trailer For 26 Ft Regal Commodore
I spoke with my contact at CE Smith, and they said the Bolster and Swivel Bracket Assembly for Boat Trailers, part # CE10000G, do not bear the weight of the boat. The U-bolt that attaches the brackets to the trailer frame support the weight of the boat. There should be a bracket attached to each cross member of the trailer frame. If you are buying several brackets, I would recommend part # CE10000G-4. This is a set of 4 of the 9 inch adjustable brackets. If you need longer adjustable brackets...

To install the endcaps part # YR134-5 on the ends of the roller of the CE Smith Deep V Keel Roller Assembly # CE10405G you will need to get a longer 5/8 inch shaft so that there is enough room for the endcaps to secure on either side of the bracket. The roller shaft that would most likely work the best for you would be the 19 inch 5/8 inch diameter roller shaft # 107-30A. You will need to measure your setup to be sure this would work for you though.
