Can Hole be Enlarged on CE Smith Boat Trailer Roller Brackets for a 5/8 Inch Diameter Shaft

Is it possible to drill out hole more to fit a 5/8inch shaft in the bracket for a roller that takes 5/8 Thanks

Generally speaking, it is not recommended to bore out the holes on the roller brackets # CE10211G because doing so could weaken the brackets. Adjustable mounting bracket # CE32004G would be a much better option. We also have # MBSPB as a possible option.
