If you want a clean, factory look when the tow gear’s off, this base plate nails it. The streamlined design mounts tight to the frame and sits farther back than standard brackets, so with the drawbars removed the setup is virtually invisible. The partially hidden design also helps protect the brackets from scrapes and scuffs behind the grille.

Easy install, works as it should worth every penny.
went on easy, did it myself. towed car to florida and back with no problems. highly recommend this part.
Took a bit to wiggle it for the holes to align. IMO the hardest part (Other than aligning the holes and drilling the extra holes) was removing the plastic 'screw' pins and then replacing them.
I hope this works well once I am rolling.

Quality product. Solid construction. Getting the holes lined up was the hardest part of the install. I stripped a bolt which made the install longer because of a trip to the hardware store.

Easy instructions to follow and all parts fit perfectly. Been towing behind our Motorhome for 1 year with no problems. The Roadmaster EZ5 is a great towing system. Keep up the good work.
I cannot fault this product with regard to materials and providing a complete installation kit. Everything is included (with the exception of RED LOCTITE which you definitely need), right down to the cable ties. The steel is a very heavy gauge...in fact, this should work as a much better "bumper" than what came off of the CR-V (which is just stamped steel). The nice powder coating should provide a long service life. The only issues I had were: One bolt hole did not line up. This was one of the smallest bolts that screws into existing threads. It wasn't even close enough to try to "fudge." All the others were fine. Second: The plastic fascia trimming instructions are not exactly correct. You will end up trimming a slightly larger area to clear the plate protrusions. And you will also need to trim around one of the small tubes that support the wiring connector plate - no big deal there. These comments relate to my 2009 CR-V.
The boxes came late yesterday afternoon & haven't opened them yet. I'll probably install it next week. My wife uses the CRV almost daily to pick up granddaughters from school. She doesn't like driving my truck, it's too big. I'll look at the video again before I start. A friend has a lift & has offered to help. It'll be nice to have the car at chest level. It was a pleasure working with Vanessa through the ordering process.

It installed easily & we towed the CR-V just over 3K miles with no problems. A lift getting the front end chest high was a real plus.
The tow bar works very well. It is easy hook up and unhook. No prolems with it at all. Would definitely purchase again.

2ND OR 3RD base plate ordered, fits good and got here quick. Ordered a few trailer hitches as well. so far very happy.
Relatively easy installation. Direction that were provided was all I needed (well, maybe a youtube helped a little also) to successfully complete the installation. Very happy with the the unit.
