Are Roadmaster or Blue Ox Base Plates Easier to Install on 2011 Honda CR-V

Which base plate is easier to install? Roadmaster or Blue Ox for a 2011 CRV.. Also, can I use a Roadmaster base plate with blue ox tow bars? Thanks

Between the base plates that fit your 2011 Honda CR-V, the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BX2246 and Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM-521559-5, I recommend the Roadmaster as it will be the slightly easier installation.
The reason for that is the Roadmaster does not require having to saw off part of the bumper core in order to install the base plates, which the Blue Ox does require. That is the major difference between the two installs so if it were my 2011 Honda CR-V I would definitely go with the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM-521559-5.
Along with those base plates there are a number of other parts you will need in order to flat tow your 2011 CR-V, which I'll list for you.
