Instead of using Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # RM-521559-5, you will want a quick disconnect option like Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # RM-521559-4. This is compatible with Roadmaster EZ Hook Safety Cable Anchors (1 Pair) # RM-910653 and Roadmaster EZ Hook Replacement Safety Cable - 64" Long - 8,000 lbs # RM-910650.
If you already purchased Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # RM-521559-5 for your 2008 Honda CR-V, then you will just want to go with a standard safety cable such as RoadMaster 68" Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables - 6,000 lbs # RM-643. If you don't have a tow bar yet then Roadmaster Falcon All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar - Motorhome Mount - 2" Hitch - 6,000 lbs # RM-522 would work well.
