Question:
What tow bar base plate would I use for my 2008 Honda CRv and the Roadmaster Nighthawk

Helpful Expert Reply:
The best baseplate kit for your 2008 Honda CR-V that works with the Roadmaster Nighthawk Tow Bar item # RM-676 is the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit item # RM-521559-5. This baseplate kit is custom fit and the removable arms not only make connecting to your tow bar easier but are also the best looking when you're not towing your Honda.
I have linked a couple of installation videos below so you can see how to get these parts set up.
Some other parts you will need to flat tow your CR-V are listed below along with any installation videos we may have:
Wiring Harness - Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit item # RM-152, 6-Wire Trailer Connector item # RM-910030-7, and the Bent Electrical Socket Bracket item # RM-910030-5.
Supplemental Braking System - Brake Buddy Select 3 Portable Supplemental Braking System item # HM39524
High Low Adapter - The tow bar needs to be within 3" of level. If you measure the height of the inside top of the hitch receiver tube on your RV, and the height difference is more than 3 inches above/below the base plate tab height, you'll need a high/low adapter. I have linked a FAQ article that explains all this in more detail along with our selection of adapters.
