If you like a clean, factory look when you’re not towing, this setup keeps things tidy. Absolutely great, easy install and hitches are hidden when the tow arms are removed , takes seconds by pulling the pin and a simple twist , I highly recommend buying this product, Installed in 2 hours on a 2020 jeep 2 door wrangler.
easy to install. After 1 year not rusting at all. On a wrangler they are almost invisible compared to Blue Ox which a friend has and the entire set up is on the front end 24/7 (cross bar)

Great product. This is the 4th unit I have purchased and used on different vehicles. When I purchased the wrong unit, etrailer replaced it with the correct one. Between the installation instructions that come with the kits and the available videos on the website, installation is relatively simple. I would and have recommended etrailer to a lot of people.

Recently I ordered a Roadmaster Sterling All Terrain Tow Bar (RM-576) and a Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit (RM-521453-4). The included Roadmaster installation instructions were very good and easy to follow. A few minor questions came up during the installation, but eTrailer's excellent installation video by Shane cleared up any confusion. Overall the installation of both the base plates and the tow bar was pretty simple and straight forward. I think eTrailer's product and installation videos are a great help in picking the right item and installing it.
Great product and thanks to etrailer.com for the excellent videos detailing how to install the Demco Stay-In-Play Duo braking system. As a result of watching all of the available videos, I learned that there where a couple of different ways to install the system in our Jeep Wranglers. The first installation I did was in our 2019 Wrangler and that was super easy following the one video on your website. The second installation of the system was not as easy because our 2021 Wrangler has a manual transmission and required having to drill a hole in the firewall/floor board to run the wiring and vacuum tube from the passenger compartment to the engine area. If etrailer.com ever has an installation on a Jeep Wrangler with a manual transmission to perform, hopefully they will video tape that installation to guide customers with Jeeps with manual transmissions. I think etrailer.com's idea of mounting the control box on the fuse box is by far the cleanest and easiest way to install the Demco braking system.
I also followed etrailer.com's videos for installing the brake light system and the base plate on both our Wranglers and could not be happier with them. Thanks etrailer for all you offer.
It took a little time to install theses, but they are heavily made and should hold up for many years.

great kit to add a baseplate to my 2019 jeep wrangler. It takes several hours for one person to install, but if you follow the instructions and watch the video it's straight forward and easy to install.

after a year, its still working great. It makes it easy to add or remove my roadmaster tow bar when I do or dont need it.
This was a straightforward install. The instructions were easy to understand and follow. All the necessary parts and hardware were included. It is pretty well hidden once installed. I highly recommend this base plate and etrailer.

I have towed the Jeep several times with no issues. So far so good.

The install went well. Product is very sturdy and has held up well with no issues. I tow my Wrangler regularly behind my motorhome. I would recommend this product to friends.
Installed these on my 2018 wrangler. Awesome instructions! Very happy with how it turned out. The videos in the web site are worth the watch.
5 hours into install. Not the kits problem as I am using a ratchet, don't have an impact wrench. Biggest problem I had was nuts that went up into the frame. Very frustrating. Not sure why couldn't use a long bolt and go straight through to the hole on the other side. Instructions for the cut on the plastic skid plate are a little vague as is the video. All in all, pretty smooth install.

Ordered Product on Saturday afternoon, delivered on Wednesday, Installed on Friday. My 23 Wrangler Sahara 4Xe did take the spacer and washer on each side of the frame and was no problem getting them to fit. The lower passenger outside nut that holds on the bumper will not tighten down all the way, the flange of the factory nut gets caught in a slot in the base plate on that side. Will look into a standard nut to see if that will work - it is tight against the slot and holding.
