I’m using the BX7365 Alpha tow bar rated for 6500 pounds. Found the owners manual in my RV files.

I have a great base plate solution for you. Since you say that your Blue Ox tow bar has a 5k capacity, I believe you are referring to either the Blue Ox Adventurer Tow Bar - Car Mount - 2" Ball # BX7322 or the Blue Ox Acclaim # BX4330. Unfortunately, we do not currently carry an etrailer baseplate that can be used with either of these models.

However, we have a great Roadmaster base plate and adapter that will allow you to use your tow bars on your 2022 Jeep Wrangler. For that setup, I recommend using the Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # RM-521453-4 along with the RoadMaster Base Plate to Blue Ox Tow Bar Adapter # RM-033. The crossbar-style brackets on the Roadmaster base plate sit far back for a supremely clean look. It is important to note that this base plate only fits 2022 Wranglers with a factory plastic or steel bumper. With the adapter, the Blue Ox Adventurer and Acclaim tow bars fit perfectly.

As with all flat-towing applications, I recommend consulting with your vehicle's owner's manual to make sure you are abiding by all guidelines.

I’ll also need a wiring kit to allow my RV to use Wrangler wiring for brake and turn signals. I recently purchased your trailer hitch for my wrangler that came with the 4 pin wiring kit to allow towing a trailer with the Wrangler. It is not installed yet but it came with a wiring harness and diode block. I am assuming that adding the diode protected toad lighting kit will not affect the trailer towing harness?

If you plan to use your current diodes, they will not interfere with the trailer towing harness. In fact, we sell kits like the Roadmaster 4-Diode Universal Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles - 7-Wire to 6-Wire Straight Cord # RM-152-98146-7 that come with the diodes as well as the socket to run to the tail lights from your Jeep that are designed to fit your 2022 Wrangler. If you plan to use all of the components that came with your hitch, all you need is the Demco 7-Wire to 6-Wire Coiled Electrical Cord w/ 6-Way Round Plug - 7' Long # DM9523054 to complete your wiring setup.

Thanks for the confirmation. If you are using the Blue Ox Alpha # BX7380 is compatible with the RoadMaster Base Plate to Blue Ox and Demco Tow Bars Adapter # RM-033 on your 2022 Jeep Wrangler.
