Today we're taking a look at the replacement solid rubber tire for the Trailer Valet trailer dolly. This replaces the tire on your Trailer Valet trailer dolly. It works with part numbers TVXL25, TVXL2, or TVXLV2.It's a solid rubber construction, so it lasts longer and handles better than inflatable tires. It also has a really nice, deep tread design that allows extra grip for more stability on gravel, dirt and grass. They appear identical to the tires originally on me Trailer Valet XL.
Like how solid these are.
Had a previous problem with tire slippage causing the valve in the inflatable tube to split.
The solid rubber tires have the same slipping problem.
Fortunately I previously purchased tire glue but one still managed to break the seal during first time of use however was able to finish moving my trailer.
Tire glue should be a suggested purchase with this item.

I purchased the tires because the inflated ones, even with glue and at full pressure were slipping in the rims causing the inflation valves to tear loose. Unfortunately the solid ones slip too despite trying several glues including epoxy.

These solid rubber tires for Trailer Valet totally improved the trailer valet with better traction, not constantly trying to get 85 lbs of pressure into the old air tires, and much easier to crank the trailer valet handle. At the time i bought these, no one would verify that they would work on a Trailer Valet probably because Trailer Valet wanted to sell me a new valet. The etrailer site would not confirm that they would run on a Trailer Valet, and the product detail said it was an eTrailer tire. I went ahead and ordered them any way, and wnen I got them, they said "Trailer Valet" on the tire, and they work incredibly well. Finally, my three year Trailer Valet struggle turned into a super reliable boat mover solution. Thanks, etrailer for introducing these into your catalog.

I purchased these to replace the air tube tires from the older version of the Trailer Valet 5x. I read mixed reviews but took the plunge because I was tired of replacing the tubes after every use.
The new tires are great, but installation took some effort. Unlike others, I had no issues with the chain. The new tires were slightly too small and I used a sledge hammer to get them on. Once they were in far enough I was able to ratchet everything perfectly snug.
After a full season of use the tires have worked flawlessly.

This was the tire I was looking for. I was having problems finding the right tubes for the regular tires. I always thought that a solid tire would be the best. The tires were easy to install. Adding a little grease on the rims made installation easier. I think these tires will work really well. Thank you
Great upgrade from pneumatic tires on my 5X Trailer Valet. No more constantly checking and having to correct the air pressure. These DO work on the 5X contrary to what I’ve read on other threads
The solid rubber tires for trailer valet work like a charm, no more hard to replace pneumatic tubes.
Works on old pneumatic ones, but taking apart the older models is difficult and different than videos by TV. Will need to take out master link in chain. Plan a few hours, and be glad you bought the solid tires.

There can be different reasons for the rims spinning: 1. There could be a tongue weight issue, which means theres insufficient tongue weight on the trailer for the tires on the trailer valet unit to have tractions. 2. Or if you are referring to the tires just spinning due to something being loose? 3. The surface youre working on could also be an issue. I have sent your information over to our customer service department for them to better assist you through this troubleshooting.

The replacement Trailer Valet XL tires are fairly easy to install and they provide like new traction again. Im happy with them.
