The interlocking two-jaw system wraps completely around the king pin for 360-degree contact. That full-wrap design cuts down on rattle and movement you’d get from slide-bar hitches, keeping the trailer locked in tight and the ride quieter. The built-in torsion head adds cushioning that smooths out road shock and minimizes chucking, so every mile feels stable and controlled.
Peace of mind comes from knowing your connection is secure at a glance. The three-point indicator uses color coding—red for uncoupled, yellow for ready to couple, and green for towing—so you can see exactly what position the jaws are in from outside the cab. The handle locks easily with a padlock (sold separately) and automatically resets to the ready-to-couple position once you unhook, so it’s ready when you are.
For slow-speed turns or backing into tight spots, the non-binding S25 slider gives you 12 inches of travel front to back. It slides smoothly in both directions and latches automatically, creating the clearance needed between your cab and trailer during tight maneuvers. The quiet, solid slider design anchors securely to industry-standard rails for confident handling every time you adjust.
When it’s time to clear your truck bed, the A25 makes it easy. Pull a single pin to lift off the head—no tools or special equipment required. The design lets one person handle removal so you can get back to using your bed for gear or cargo. Two built-in zerk fittings also make lubrication simple before the next trip, keeping everything moving smoothly and ready for the next haul.

Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Bracket Kit for your Chevrolet and GMC trucks. Now this is a custom-fit part. It is designed to fit the 2011 to 2019 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500 and 3500 trucks with either the six and a half foot bed or the eight foot bed and without the OEM prep package. Now on a custom-fit part like this, I do recommend for you to go to our website, use the Fit Guide, put in your year, model, vehicle.
It'll show if this will work for your application. Now these brackets here are designed to mount beneath your truck bed, and they provide the attachment points for your fifth-wheel rails to attach to. Now those base rails we do sell separate on our website. Does require the base rails, part number C16104, C16204, or C16205. Those rails will bolt to these mounting brackets.
Now these brackets here will provide a custom fit. They mount to existing holes that are in your vehicle's frame. You can see the holes right here in the sides. These holes will eliminate the need for drilling. Cuts the installation time in half when compared with universal bracket kits.
Now it does include all the necessary hardware to install this. Comes with a nice set of instructions that'll describe how it all goes together. And these parts have a nice black powder coat finish on to resist corrosion. And these brackets are designed to work with the industry-standard rails that are compatible with B&W, Curt, Draw-Tite, Reese, and Husky above-bed fifth-wheel trailer hitches. Fantastic! I was able to install the entire kit by myself as soon as my hand allowed me to. Everything went together as it was supposed to. Ive only been able to tow my 5er a few times, but getting hitched up and unhitched is a breeze, even when the truck isnt straight on to the trailer. The hitch is totally silent, with no chucking at all. I was able to set it up so I had good cab clearance that I dont need to use the Turning Point feature on my pin box. I highly recommend this hitch.

Just a year now, and this hitch is still performing great. I really like the colored indicator in the front. I thought this would be a joke at first, but hey.. it really works. I find myself looking at the connection dot right before I put the truck in drive. If anything, its another way to double check Im hooked up correctly. Really like this 5th wheel hitch

After a year and around 7,000 miles pulling our fifth wheel camper, I love the hitch. I have not had to use the sliding portion but glad we have it if we need it
