Today on our 2012 GMC Terrain we'll be doing a test fit on the Glacier Square-Link snow tire chains, part number PWPLC1142, and that's tire size 23560R17. These Glacier chains feature a ladder pattern, so they're going to be very effective during starts and stops. The square links are designed to give you the bite you need to get going. They're intended for on-road use only. They're SAE class-S chains, that are designed for vehicles with limited wheel-well clearance. They have a maximum speed rating of 30 miles per hour, and they come in a quantity of two.



Titan Chain Diamond Alloy Snow Tire Chains Review - 2012 GMC Terrain

Today on our 2012 GMC Terrain, we'll be doing a test fit on the Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains, part number TC1555. That's tire size 23560R17. These Titan chains feature a diamond pattern rather than a ladder pattern, so they're going to provide you with more tire coverage, which means more traction. The square links are going to give you the bite you need to get going. It's low profile, so they're going to be smoother than most chains. They're SAE class S chains, so they're designed for vehicles with limited wheel well clearance. Some chains require a rubber adjuster or an additional part to help keep them tight around the tire.

We have our snow chains installed on our driver's side tire, and we'll go ahead and show you how it fits. First we're going ahead and cover some of the features, you can see how the links right here the construction of the link itself, it's actually a square. Even though the link is round, the construction of the stock is square. It has low inaudible 00:00:33 chain, so it's good for vehicles with limited clearance between the tires and the components, and the tires and the fronted wheels.
