Question:
I have a 2014 Honda CRV and want to install either a Draw Tite or Hidden Hitch class II hitch. Which hitch is the least obvious. My wife is concerned about how it will look on the car. From the pictures they both products look identical. Capacity and dimensions appear the same. Are they similar in quality?

Expert Reply:
Draw-Tite and Hidden Hitch are both sister companies that are owned by the same parent company, Cequent Performance Products. Both hitches are identical. The hitches share the same weight capacity, installation would be the same and the quality would be equal.
If you'll be using the hitch for towing, you'll need the ball mount, part # 36051. You'll also need the trailer wiring harness, part # 118561 and a 1-7/8 inch trailer ball, part # 19256 or a 2 inch ball, part # 19258.
I've provided a photo showing what the Draw-Tite # 36520 looks like when installed on a 2013 CR-V. I've also linked you to installation details and videos for the hitch and the trailer wiring harness.
